Concealed Carry

     This class is required in order for you to be able to apply for the North Carolina Concealed Carry Permit. The class will be 8 hours of instruction with a written test at the end. There will also be a range qualification that will consist of 30 shots total on a silhouette target. Students will be required to shoot 10 shots each at a distance of 3, 5, and 7 yards with at least 70% proficiency. Upon successful completion of the class, you will receive your NC CCH certificate. Then to apply for your NC CCH Permit, turn in this certificate along with other required documentation and payment to your local Sheriff’s Office.

Things to note:

• Students are not allowed to bring firearms into the classroom
• Eye and ear protection is required (I can provide if needed)
• No opened toed shoes allowed
• No low-cut shirts allowed
• A ball cap or visor is recommended
• You will need your handgun and at least 30 rounds of ammunition ( I can also loan you a gun and ammo for an additional $25.00)

**This class is not meant to be a pistol instruction class.  While we will cover the basic skills needed, you should already have a working knowledge of handguns and firearms safety.**
